Abstract
|
The animal model of syndrome had significance in studying traditional Chinese medical (TCM) syndrome and TCM pharmacology. Its lagging already became the bottleneck of TCM modernization. At present, animal model of combined disease and syndrome is the most suitable technological platform for TCM research. In order to ensure objectivity of the illness cases brought into research, we should establish TCM syndrome criteria by epidemiological methods. Taking this as standard, a kind of animal model should be selected, which coincides with the clinic situation of the patients. Then, we should evaluate reliability of this animal model by demonstrating the curative effect. This thought and method was not only guided by TCM theory and verified by experimental methods. It might be the basis of disease experimental research and evaluating the clinic effect of TCM. |
