Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore the effective mechanism of Fujian Tablet promoting neural regeneration by observing the effect of Fujian tablet on the expression of NCAM in MCAO rats at the different stages. [Methods] Two hundred and forty Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control, sham operation, model and medicine groups. They were subsequently divided into five subsets with 12 rats in each group according to the disease course at 3, 7, 14, 28 and 42 days. The rat models with middle cerebral artery occlusion were successfully established by the improved Longa EZ. The medicine group were given with Fujian Tablet, other group with commensurability distilled water. The expression of NCAM in the region around the infarction was observed by immunohistochemistry method. [Results] In the model group, NCAM-positive cells gradually increased and reached a peak at day 28, and then decreased, which were notably different from normal control group (P<0.01). In the medicine group, NCAM-positive cells were obviously different with normal control group (P<0.01), obviously increased at day 3, and reached a peak at day 14, then still remained high level, decreased from day 28, but were still obviously different compared with model group (P<0.01). [Conclusion] The Fujian Tablet can increase the NCAM positive cells, and promote axon growth and target migration. |
