Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the effects of Shuogandaozhuo Medicine (dispersing stagnation of liver-Q and reducing the turbid pathogen,SM) on liver function and its anti-oxygenation in rabbits with fatty liver.[Methods] The fatty liver in rabbits was induced by feeding them with high caloric diet for six weeks.Sixty rabbits were randomly divided into six groups including the high-dose,middledose and low-dose SM groups, the Dongbaogantai group, the model group and the normal control group. The liver index (liver weight/body weight),the amount of AST,ALT,ALP,NO,SOD and MDA in the serum were investigated after medication.[Results] The liver function and the amount of SOD decreased significantly (P<0.05) in the model group with significant increasing of the MDA (P<0.01);Significant increase of SOD was found in the middle and low-dose of the SM group (P<0.05).[Conclusion] SM is effective for increasing anti-oxidation in rabbits with fatty liver. |
