Abstract

Through analyzing the synopsis of Tangerine Peel and Bamboo Shavings Decoction and combining with the traditional representation,the author considered that Bamboo Shavings was slightly sweet and cool,and could be used to regulate the flow of Qi and harmonize stomach and lower adverse Qi when it was combined with warm medicinal materials.The components in the decoction were compatible,making mutual compensation between medicines with cold and hot natures,tonifying without delay,regulating the stomach and sending down the abnormal ascending Qi,benefiting QI for enriching the middle-JIAO.The usefulness of Tangerine Peel and Bamboo Shavings Decoction was indicating for syndrome of adverse flow of QI caused by deficiency of the stomach,irregular chills and fever. |
