Abstract
[Objective] To explore the way of preventing premature ovarian failure with traditional Chinese medicine and provide the basis for clinical practice.[Methods] Based on the reference literatures,60 mice were randomly divided into 6 groups for the models of premature ovarian failure. The animals in each group were fed with different medicine separately on the 6th day. After continuously feeding for four weeks, the rats were killed and their blood and tissue were observed. The serum content of FSH,LH and E2 was measured.[Results] Significantly decreased FSH and LH and increased E2 were found in the group with Western medicine compared to the group with Chinese medicine (P<0.05).Although the decrease of FSH and LH was lower in the group with high dose of Chinese medicine compared to the group with Western medicine there was a significant difference in that group compared to the control group, indicating that high dose Chinese medicine is helpful for the ovary function with fewer side effects.[Conclusion] The Chinese prescription of invigorating the kidney and regulating the liver can be effective for the rats with autoimmune premature ovarian failure. It is helpful for preventing autoimmune premature ovarian failure through regulating the disorder of reproduction-endocrine-axis,regaining the function of ovary and improving clinical syndromes.
