Abstract

[Objective] To investigate the stability of cholerythrin and measure its content in the Guipu Shenqing tablet.[Methods] Cholerythrin was determined by HPLC.The amount of cholerythrin before and after the explosion of sunlight was compared by HPLC and UV spectrum.[Results] Cholerythrin was not stable and its peak area decreases for 1.6% in half an hour without light.It showed that the precision (RSD=1.2%),reproducibility (RSD=2.0%) and recovery rate could reach the need of experiments.Cholerythrin was sensitive to sunlight.It completely vanishes in sunlight for 3 hours and no cholerythrin was found by HPLC.[Conclusion] HPLC could be used to measure the content of cholerythrin and the drug should be prepared quickly with no light. |
