Abstract
|
[Objective] To study the therapeutic effect and significance of tetramethylpyrazine combined with scopolamine in treating exacerbated stage of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. [Methods] Sixty-five patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group (n=32) and the control group (n=33). The patients of two groups were received same basic treatment and the treatment group was given additional treatment with tetramethylpyrazine and scopolamine intravenously for seven days. The arterial blood gas analysis was examined in both groups every day and they were given inter-comparison. [Results] The PaO2 and PaCO2 didn’t change significantly before treatment of the two groups. After treatment for seven days, the PaO2 was higher and PaCO2 was lower in treatment group than that in control group, and there was statistical difference after treatment (P<0.01). [Conclusion] Tetram-ethylpyrazine combined with scopolamine has significant curative effect for patients with exacerbated chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. |
