Abstract
|
[Objective] To establish the Cell Suspension Culture System of Periploca sepium Bunge and measure the constituent of Periplocin and 4-Methoxy salicylaldehyde. [Methods] Cut and collected the root and induce callus under sterile conditions. Then, propagate the callus for several cycles. Select eugonic and incompact callus and inoculate them to liquid medium to establish the System of Cell Suspension Culture. Then, measure the content of Periplocin and 4-Methoxysalicylaldehyde in cell. [Results] The Cell Suspension Culture System of Periploca sepium bunge was established and the constituent of periplocin and 4-Methoxysalicylaldehyde was measured as 4.06 μg/g and 1.92 μg/g-respectively. [Conclusion] The Cell Suspension Culture System of Periploca sepium Bunge can be established successfully by tissue culture, but the effective constituent of the cell was low,so it was necessary to study the minimum medium and culture conditions further. |
