| Abstract

| The theory"Prevention of Disease"in TCM contains three parts of meaning:Firstly,prevent the disease before it gets.Secondly,prevent the change of the disease that already exists.Thirdly,prevent the recurrence of the disease.To those blood disease patients who were relying on blood transfusion,iron overload often happen and then caused a series of new diseases,some even life threatening.In that case,the prevention of disease theory in TCM,especially the theory of preventing the change of the disease conducts us that we had to use dispelling iron therapy before the overloading iron damage their organ’s function,in order to prevent or slow down the injure of the overloading iron to those patients. |
