| Abstract

| [Objective] To dynamically observe the ameliorating effect of Qilian Xianhua decoction on liver injury through examining the changes in body weight,liver pathology,liver function in experimental rats.[Methods] Chronic liver injury was produced in rats by injecting carbon tetrachloride for six weeks.Qilian XianHua decoction and Dimethyl diphenyl bicarboxylate were administrated per oral in different rat group for six weeks.The general condition and serum ALT,AST,ALB and CHE were detected every week;Pathology of liver was observed by HE and Masson staining at the third and sixth week.[Results] For experimental liver injury of rats,Qilian XianHua decoction can significantly improve the general condition and pathology of liver,decrease the level of ALT and AST,increase the level of ALB.[Conclusion] Qilian XianHua decoction shows a significant protective effect against the chronic injury of liver in rats. |
