Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the effect of Sitian points acupuncture on the expression of the peripheral inflammatory factors in dynamic and static stress unbalanced cervical spondylopathy rats, and to discuss the interaction mechanisms of intervertebral disc degeneration in cervical spondylopathy rats. [Methods] Sixty Wister rats were used. They were randomly divided into 4 groups(sham operation group, model group,Acupuncture on Sitian Points group,Acupuncture on Jiaji Points group),and the dynamic and static stress unbalanced cervical spondylopathy models were established. We punctured Sitian points and Jiaji points respectively, and at 1st,2nd and 4th week after establishing the model we detected the expression of IL-1β mRNA,iNOS mRNA in model rats’ cervical disc, which were punctured with Sitian points,by RT-PCR method. [Results] Acupuncture on Sitian points could markedly reduce the expression of the peripheral inflammatory factors(IL-1β mRNA,iNOS mRNA) in intervertebral disc. [Conclusion] Acupuncture on Sitian points could decrease intervertebral disc degeneration, and the mechanism might be related with inhibiting the expression of IL-1β mRNA and iNOS mRNA. |
