Abstract
|
[Objective] To set up an ultraviolet visible spectrophotometry(UV) method to determine the content of polysaccharide in herbs obtaining from different areas. [Methods] The content of Polysaccharide was tested with the color appearing in the phenol-sulphuricacid reagent. The testing wavelength was 478nm.Its UV assaying method was found by experimenting on the key steps and methodology of extraction. [Results] UV assay method for Polysaccharide was simple and convenient, accurate, and stable. Its linearity range was 10.484~75.936μg.Among the Radix bupleuris from 11 places of origin, the content range of Polysaccharide per 1 gram of crude drug was 46.99~96.965mg. [Conclusion] The method was simple and easy to perform and the obtained results were stable and reliable. |
