| This article discussed the fundamental theory about the Shufengzhike(dispelling wind and relieving cough) method in treating cough with variant asthma.It was considered that cough is the main symptom in cough with variant asthma.It main pathogen and patho-genesis were pathogen wind invading lung,pathogen hindering lung collaterals,impairment of dispersing and purifying function of lung,not promoting of airway and airway spasm.Its characteristics of pathogenesis had not only the cough of lung qi ascending but also hyper-response of air passage.The treatment would take Shufengzhike method to disperse the lung qi,smooth the lung collaterals,expulse the pathogen,and let airway to be peaceful.It was proposed that the Shufengzhike method is one of the main principle in treating cough with variant asthma. |
