Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate the effects of sodium Tanshinone B on the content of glutamate acid(Glu),γ-aminobutyric acid(GABA) in the hippocampus of rat following focal ischemia-reperfusion injury.[Methods] The rat model of focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion was established with middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) by reversibly inserting a nylon thread. The rats were randomized into sham operated group, model group and sodium Tanshinone B groups. The concentrations of Glutamate and GABA were analyzed with HPLC.[Results] The levels of glutamate and GABA were significantly lower in each sodium Tanshinone group than that of model group.[Conclusion] The results showed that pretreatment with sodium Tan B could significantly decrease the releasing of glutamate and GABA after ischemia-reperfusion injury. |
