| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the effect of Wutian Baogan solution on the expression of liver tissue TGF-β1 in rats with alcoholic liver fibrosis.[Methods] The rat model of alcoholic liver fibrosis was established by gastric infusion of alcohol supplemented with pyrazole,corn oil.The Wistar rats with hepatic fibrosis were randomly divided into normal group,model group,low-dose group,middle dose group,high-dose group,Essentiale group.After treating for 12 weeks the rats were killed to stain the hepatic tissue with HE and Masson.Using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) the content of typeⅢ collagen precursor protein(PⅢP) and laminin(LN) was determined.With Real-time RT-PCR the liver tissue transforming growth factor β1(TGF-β1) mRNA expression was detected.[Results] The serum PⅢP,LN and liver TGF-β1mRNA expression of model group was significantly increased,relative decreasing was found in each treatment group when compared with model group.Among the treatment group with Wutian Baogan solution the middle or high dosage group had more obvious decreasing.[Conclusion] Wutian Baogan solution can inhibit the expression of liver tissue TGF-β1 in rats with alcoholic liver fibrosis.It may be one of the mechanisms of prevention and treatment of alcoholic liver fibrosis. |
