Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the characteristics and process of pathogenesis of spontaneous type 2 diabetes rats(OLETF rats).[Methods] The experimental group of OLETF rats and the normal control group of LETO rats were introduced, and the change of body mass, the fat content in abdominal cavity, the rate of fat to weight, oral glucose tolerance test,GIR and blood fat were observed dynamically.[Results] The body mass and the fat content in abdominal cavity of the rats in experimental group were significantly higher than those in the normal control group.Compared with the normal control group,GIR of experimental group decreased. The level of triglyceride, cholesterol, and free fatty acids were also significantly higher than the normal control group.[Conclusion] The process of pathogenesis in OLETF rats clearly indicated the characteristics and process of pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome in "PiDan"(spleen-warm syndrome) of TCM. |
