| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To detect the effect of Simao yongan decoction on the function of vascular endothelial cells through.[Methods] Thirty-six males Wistar rats were randomly divided into two groups:normal control group(twelve) and diabetic group.According to blood-glucose and body weight, they were randomly divided into three groups:model group, diabetic group treated with rosiglitazone and diabetic group with Simao yongan decoction.Every rat was respectively measured about their serums sVCAM-1,plasma TNF-α,NO and ET-1.[Results] Compared with control groups, the content of serums sVCAM-1 and plasma TNF-α increased significantly and plasma ET-1 increased slightly, while NO decreased significantly in diabetic rats.As a result,Simao yongan decoction and Rosiglitazone can significantly decreased the content of serum sVCAM-1,plasma TNF-α and plasma ET-1,while increased the content of plasma NO significantly.[Conclusion] Simao yongan decoction can protect the function of vascular endothelial cells and suppress the initiation and progression of atherosclerosis in diabetic rats. |
