| Xiang(image)-thinking was a main thinking way of traditional Chinese medicine.Approaximately,the pathway of xiang-thinking included: observing the sky and earth to explore the Xiang,explaining the meaning through Xiang,obtaining the meaning and missing the Xiang,thinking based on the Xiang,differentiating symptoms and signs based on the Xiang,giving treatment based on the syndrome,etc.and finally achieving the basic aim of thinking based on the Xiang and obtaining wisdom according to the thinking.The Xiang-thinking had a creating advantage and was the forerunner of innovation on his own in TCM and the holding of continuing development.If completing the systemic integrating of the image,concrete image and abstract image it will be helpful to push forward the research of syndrome conformity and can stride forward for constructing unifying medicine and pharmacology. |
