The curative effect of modified liujunsanzi decoction on 80 patients with AECOPD Ⅲ |

Abstract
|
[Objective] The aim of this study was to evaluate the therapeutic effect of integrated traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine for AECOPD Ⅲ level(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation of grade Ⅲ) by pulmonary function and blood gas.[Methods] Eighty patients of AECOPD Ⅲ level were randomly divided into integrated traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine treatment group and Western medicine treatment only group.The patients of Western medicine treatment group were treated with conventional therapies.Integrated traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine group with conventional therapies and liujun sanzi decoction.[Results] Both of integrated traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine treatment group and Western medicine treatment group could improve FVC%,FEV1%,MVV%,increase PO2,lower PCO2.Statistically significant differences were observed before and after treatment.Integrated traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine treatment group was more effective than that of Western medicine treatment only group in increasing FVC%,MVV%,PO2 and lowering PCO2.Statistically significant differences were observed between two groups.No statistically significant differences were observed on FEV1% between two groups.[Conclusions] Integrated traditional and Western medicine therapy in patients with COPD can improve pulmonary function better,increase blood oxygen,reduce carbon dioxide partial pressure and has clinical value. |
