| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the clinical curative effect on the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis(AS) by Yaobitong Capsule coordinating with acupuncture.[Method] The patients with ankylosing spondylitis were randomly divided into treatment group(n=38) and control group(n=32).Patients in the treatment group were treated by Yaobitong Capsule with needling at the same time on the acupuncture points of Darzhui,Shenzhu,Yaoyangguan,Huatuojiaji,and so on.During a month treatment,the changes in the morning stiffness(h),chest expanding(cm),Schober(cm),finger pointing(cm),ESR(mm/h),and the distance from the pillow to the wall were observed.[Results] Compared with the control group,the curative effect of the treatment group was surpassed the control one(Zc=-2.467,P<0.01).[Conclusion] Clinical symptoms in patients with ankylosing spondylitis can be obviously improved by coordinating Yaobitong Capsule with acupuncture. |
