| CHEN Zhu,the minister of the ministry of public health,has put forward that we have to break the barrier of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).WANG Guo-qiang,the vice-minister of the ministry of public health and the head of the national administration bureau of traditional Chinese medicine,has suggested that we should energetically promote the integration of TCM with western medicine(WM),inherit and develop the Chinese medicine enterprise.This is the consistent policy of our party and government.We need to make a clear direction,strengthen the conviction,insist the policy of integrated TCM and WM.In the current work of integrating TCM and WM,breaking the barrier of TCM and WM is just the foundation of promoting the development.The work of integrated TCM and WM in China has obtained a majority of famous achievements in the world.Among them the most important success is the understanding,diagnosis and treatment of diseases,in which a novel medical system rudiment with Chinese characteristics has formed.Of them,there are two thinking that deserve deep exploration and constantly summary.1) The combination of syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation is the uppermost diagnostic model of integration of TCM and WM in clinic.2) Improvement the curative effect is the power for the development of TCM and the integration of TCM with WM. |
