| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the curative effect of Buyang Huanwu decoction of Chinese medicine on treating chronic nephritis.[Methods] The patients of two groups were treated with the same basic method excepting that the treatment group was given with modified Buyang Huanwu decoction and the control group was given with ACEI and Persantin.The 24 hours quantity of proteinuria,trace protein in urine,liver function,hemorheology,triglycerides and cholesterol were compared before and after the treatment.[Results] The total effective rate in the treatment group was 93.3% and was better than that in the control group (46.7%) (P<0.05).Meanwhile,the treatment group could significant decrease 24 hours quantity of proteinuria and trace protein in urine and increase blood albumin and total protein as well as improve hemorheology and blood fat.There was a significant difference between treatment and control group (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Modified Buyang Huanwu decoction has significant curative effect on chronic nephritis. |
