Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in treating adolescent dysfunctional uterine bleeding (adolescent DUB).[Methods] Eighty cases of adolescent DUB patients were randomly divided into two groups,estrogen and progesterone combination group (the control group) of 40 cases and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine group (the treatment group) of 40 cases.The patients in control group were treated with medroxyprogesterone acetate and estradiol valerate,and traditional Chinese medicine was added to the treatment group based on the drugs used in control group.[Results] The total effective rate of the treatment group was 97.5% and the control group was 87.5% with significant difference between them (P<0.05).[Conclusion] The curative effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for adolescent DUB is superior to that of taking estrogen and progesterone only. |
