Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore the therapeutic effect of Tiaoqixiaoji(TQXJ) decoction on anti-tumor effect and apoptosis of Lewis lung cancer-bearing mice.[Methods] C57BL/6 mice were inoculated with Lewis lung cancer cells routinely. Then they were randomly divided into: model group(MG),TQXJ group(TG),DDP(Cisplatin) group(DG) and TQXJ-DDP group(ZG),with 10 mice in each group.Different drugs were given to each group in order to observe the daily life and the tumor growing status of the mice.Determination of the cell apoptosis in the tumorous tissue was performed by TUNEL method.[Results] The general status of the Lewis tumor-bearing mice could be improved by TQXJ Decoction compared with MG group(P<0.01).The tumor weight of each treatment group was lighter than the MG(P<0.01).There were some cell morphological changes of the TG,DG and ZG,including the chromatin condensed in margin and the pathological karyokinesis reduced obviously compared with the MG.In situ TUNEL assay showed that increased apoptotic cells could be seen in all treatment groups;the green fluorescence intensity was high and the ZG was highest.[Conclusion] TQXJ Decoction is effective in improving the general life status of tumor-bearing mice, and it can inhibit the growth of the Lewis lung cancer, and also can induce the apoptosis of the Lewis lung cancer cells. |
