[Objective] To evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture treatment for patients with cerebral infarction in sequel period by randomized and controlled methods. The neural function in patients with cerebral infarction treated by restoring consciousness and inducing resuscitation(XNKQ) technique was investigated.[Methods] One hundred and eighty patients with cerebral infarction were enrolled and randomly divided into conventional acupuncture group and XNKQ group based on the conventional Western medicine treatment.Comparative analysis was performed 4 weeks after treatment.[Results] Four weeks after treatment taking CSS,SSS,NIHSS and BI index as the evaluated parameters, the curative effects were compared between both groups. It was found that CSS score in XNKQ group was higher than the conventional group. The increased degree of SSS score in XNKQ group was higher than that of the conventional group. For NIHSS score the decreased amplitude in XNKQ group was lower than that of the conventional group. The ability of daily life(BI index) in XNKQ group was higher than that of the conventional group.[Conclusion] XNKQ acupuncture therapy can improve neurological function and the quality of life in patients with cerebral infarction. |
