Abstract
|
[Objective] To evaluate the advantages of the rotating and lifting manipulation and traction treatment for improving curvature of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR).[Methods] Fifty patients met the enrolled criteria with CSR were selected. They were centrally divided into trial group(40 patients) and control group(40 cases).Cervical rotating and lifting manipulation and cervical traction methods were given in the treating group and control group respectively.Cervical curvature was tested by X-ray before and after treatment.[Results] After treatment, the cervical curvature was improved both in the testing and control groups compared with before treatment(P<0.05).The statistical difference was significant in cervical curvature before and after treatment. After treatment the change of cervical curvature in treating group was better than control group.[Conclusion] The effect of rotating and lifting manipulation for improving the curvature of CRS was superior than traction method. |
