| [Objective] To explore the mechanism of prevention and treatment against diabetic angiopathy by observing the effect of acupoint catgut embedding therapy(ACET) on the disturbance of lipid metabolism and sensitivity to insulin in diabetic rats.[Methods] We established a model in rats with diabetes by intra-abdominal injection of alloxan and feeding with fatty feed.After treated with ACET,the serum triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),oxidation low density lipoprotein(ox-LDL),high density lipoprotein(HDL),apolipoproteinAI(ApoAI),apolipoproteinB(ApoB),lipoprotein(a) ,nitric oxide(NO),plasma endothelins(ET),insulin sensitivity indication(ISI),and so on were detected.[Results] Compared with the control group,the plasma ET,serum ApoB,TG,TC,ox-LDL,Lp(a) of model rats were increased,serum NO,ApoAI,HDL and ISI were decreased.After treating,the plasma ET,serum TG,TC,ox-LDL,ApoB,Lp(a) were decreased markedly,serum NO,ApoAI,HDL and ISI were increased obviously(P<0.05,P<0.01 or P<0.001).[Conclusion] ACET can prevent and treat DA effectively by reinforcing insulin sensitivity,correcting disturbance of lipid metabolism,and ameliorating the vessel endothelial function. |
