Abstract
[Objective] To explore the effect of auricular points pressing combined with galactagogue granule on postpartal hypogalactia and Qi-blood deficiency(QBD).[Methods] Randomized controlled clinical trial was adopted. One hundred and two patients with Qi-blood deficiency and hypogalactia after cesarean were divided into treatment group and control group with 51cases in each group. The treatment group patients were treated with auricular points pressing, four times a day and oral galactagogue granule, once a day simultaneously, while the control group was only received auricular pressing therapy. After treatment for 5 days, the therapeutic effects and changes of cumulative score of TCM symptoms, lactation amount, complemental lactation amount, prolactin level(PRL) were evaluated and investigated.[Results] The cured and markedly effective rate was 96.1% in the treatment group and 88.2% in the control group. The treatment group was superior in the improvement of the cumulative score of TCM symptoms and increase of the lactation amount and the prolactin level than the control group(P<0.01).[Conclusion] Auricular points pressing and galactogogue granule has obvious therapeutic effect on postpartal hypogalactia.
