Effect of Yixinkang on reduplication of CVB3 mRNA of myocardial cells in vitro and correlated cytokines in coxsackievirus-infected rats

Abstract
    [Objective] Through detecting the reduplication of coxsackievirus mRNA in myocardial cells of coxsackievirus B3-infected suckling rat received Yixinkang soup and the expression of their released TNF-α and TGF-β the effect mechanism of Yixinkang on the reduplication of CVB3 virus mRNA and the released related cytokines was explored further.[Methods] Yixinkang was exposed to the myocardial cells of rat and then the reduplication of coxsackievirus mRNA in myocardial cells and the expression of released TNF-α and TGF-β were detected with RT-PCR.[Results] Yixinkang could inhibit the reduplication of CVB3 in the pathogenesis and the development process of viral myocarditis.At the same time,it could reduce the secretion of TNF-α,TGF-β.The expression level of CVB3 mRNA,TNF-α and TGF-β in group D and E was much lower than group C(P<0.01) and B(P<0.05).[Conclusion] Yixinkang can significantly protect cardiocytes infected by Coxsackie virus.
