Study on the correlation between frequency of Qi deficiency and neurological deficit in patients with ischemic stroke |

Abstract
|
[Objective] To study the correlation between frequency of Qi deficiency and neurological deficit in patients with ischemic stroke by comparing the neurological deficit scores between groups with difference in frequency of Qi deficiency.[Methods] The 605 patients with stroke attacked within 72 h were enrolled in this study.Dynamically collecting the scores of ischemic stroke syndrome factors diagnostic scale and NIHSS(The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) of the first to 14th day and 28th,90th day after onset,Qi deficiency appearing point ≤ 8(298) and appearing point 8(307) were grouped according to the frequency of Qi deficiency.The difference of neurological deficit scores among the groups were compared.[Results] The neurological deficit scores at each time point between two groups were significantly different(P<0.01);The differences of neurological deficit scores at each time point within each group were statistically significant(P=0.000);as the time delayed the scores were decreased gradually in both groups.Comparing the neurological deficit score between 14th day and the first day,the difference of two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference of neurological deficit score was also found in group of appearing point ≤ 8(298) between 14th day after onset and the first day.[Conclusion] Neurological deficit score of ischemic stroke in patients with more appearing time was severer than patients with less time point.The improvement of neurological deficit score of 14th day in patients with more appearing time point were more significant than those with less point.Actively invigorating healthy Qi plays an important role in improving neurological deficit scores of stroke patients. |
