| [Objective] To explore the effect of suspension of white monkshood(SGTR) on telomerase activity and p16,bcl-2 expression in tumor-bearing mice.[Methods] The telomerase concentration in mice serum was detected with ELISA method.The expression of p16 and bcl-2 protein in H22 tumor tissues was determined with immunohistochemistry method and then the effect mechanism of white monkshood on the tumor apoptosis was inferred.[Results] The expression level of p16 gene could be up-regulated by SGTR and it had significantly difference when compared with model group(P<0.01);the expression level of p16 gene could be down-regulated by SGTR and it had significantly difference when compared with model group(P<0.01);the telomerase activity in tumor-bearing mice was inhibited by SGTR and it had significantly difference when compared with model group(P<0.01).[Conclusion] SGTR can performed its anti-tumor effect by inhibiting the telomerase activity,down-regulating the expression of apoptosis gene bcl-2,up-regulating the cancer suppressor gene p-16 and thereby promoting the apoptosis of tumor cells. |
