Clinical observation on acupuncture in 135 patients with refractory hypertension

Abstract
    [Objective] To observe the clinical effects of acupuncture on the patients with refractory hypertension taking Ren Ying as the main acupoint.[Methods] The135 patients with refractory perpensin accepted the acupuncture treatment taking RenYing as the main acupoint based on the origing medicine administration.The dynamic monitoring of blood pressure before and after treatment for 24 h was performed to evaluate the changes of the dynamic change of the blood pressure for 24 days,the average pulse pressure and heart rate for 24 days.[Results] Ninety days after treatment,the blood pressure was decreased in 135 patients compares with that before treatment(P<0.05). Among them 36 cases were obvious effective;the 77 cases were effective;the 22 cases were less infective;the total effect rate was 83.71%.[Conclusion] Acupuncture taking Ren Ying as the main acupoint has remarkable curative effect in treating refractory hypertension.
