Abstract
Hypertension is one of the main risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.The hypertension in elder age has special clinical manifestations.Treating heart and brain simultaneously and using differentiated therapy can not only stabilize the blood pressure but also possess some protective and therapeutic effect on the target organs.It embodies the concept and predominance of treating disease as a whole body,treating both the principal and secondary aspects of a disease,treating disease before onset.It is worthy of further study.
