Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate the symptoms of TCM in rural residents of Tianjin and understand the emotional symptoms of TCM of them. [Methods] Using the cluster random sampling method, we surveyed the symptoms of TCM of residents in a rural area. We used reliability analysis, Spearman rank correlation analysis and factor analysis to analyze the emotional symptoms of TCM. [Results] Alpha coefficient was 0.785. Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that the difference between hypertension and comfort, anxiety, irritability, impatience, nerves, fatigue and early awakening was of statistical significance. Factor analysis indicated three factor components (Eigenvalue>1). The cumulative contribution of the 3 factors was 64.20%. The first factors included comfort, nerves and anxiety symptoms. The second factors included impatience and irritability symptoms. The third factors included fatigue and early awakening symptoms. [Conclusion] Among residents with hypertension in this countryside the outstanding emotional symptoms are anxiety, irritability, impatience, nerves, fatigue and early awakening. We should take active and effective preventive measures of TCM and strengthen the health education of TCM among them. |
