Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the effect of Shugan Jianpi prescription (SGJP) on the concentration of 5-HT, SP and VIP content in the plasma and colon of D-IBS rat. [Methods] Sixty SD male rats were randomly divided into six groups with ten rats each: normal group, D-IBS model group, pinaverium bromide group and SGJP low, middle, high dosage group. D-IBS rat model was induced by intracolonic instillation of acetic acid and restraint stress and immunohistochemistry technology was employed to test the 5-HT, SP and VIP content in the plasma and colon of rat. [Results] The defecation moisture was significantly reduced by the SGJP prescription (P<0.05); the AWR scores of the D-IBS rats under different expansion volume were reduced after treated with the middle and high dosage of SGJP prescription (P<0.05); the content of plasma 5-HT and colon SP of D-IBS rats was reduced after administration with SGJP prescription, but plasma SP, VIP and colon VIP were not influenced. [Conclusion] The SGJP prescription could improve the diarrhea and visceral hypersensitivity and regulate the content of 5-HT and SP, which shows that the SGJP prescription could efficiently treat D-IBS by regulating gut hormones. |
