| Abstract

| [Objective] To study the effect of Bupleurum, Scutellaria and its compatibility on hepatic fibrosis in rats. [Methods] Using the method of feeding fat diet, drinking 10% alcohol and subcutaneous injecting CCL4 to lead to liver fibrosis in rat and applying Bupleurum, Scutellaria and its compatibility to treat 7 days later. The serum concentration of hyaluronic acid (HA), Ⅲ procollagen (PC Ⅲ), laminin (LN) and type IV collagen (IV-C) was detected with ELISA. [Results] Bupleurum, Scutellaria and its compatibility could decrease the concentrations of HA, PC Ⅲ and IV-C in rats with hepatic fibrosis and the effect was significant in Bupleurum and Scutellaria compatibility(2:1) group. [Conclusion] Bupleurum,Scutellaria and its compatibility has some certain effect against hepatic fibrosis in rats. |
