Abstract
|
[Objective] To compare the absorption of mangiferin and its phosphate complex in intestine of rats in vivo. The effect of phosphate complex on mangiferin. was investigated. [Methods] The rat single-direction intestinal perfusion model in vivo was used. HPLC method was applied to measure the concentrations of mangiferin and its phosphate complex in intestine perfusate of duodenum, jejunum, ileum and colon, taking mangiferin as the control. [Results] The absorption rate constant (Ka) and apparent absorption coefficient (Papp) of mangiferin phosphate complex in each intestinal segments were higher than that of mangiferin and had significant difference in jejunum (P<0.01). [Conclusion] The intestinal absorption of mangiferin phosphate complex is superior to that of mangiferin. |
