Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigation the effect of different compatibility of Radix Ginseng and Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata on toxicity in mice. [Methods] In this study two methods using uniform design and fixed dose of Radix Aconiti praeparata compatibility with Radix Ginseng were used to observe the influence of different proportion in compatibility of Radix Ginseng and Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata on acute toxicity in mice. [Results] The study of uniform design showed that mice mortality was increased with the dose increasing of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata and with the proportion of Radix Ginseng increased the toxicitiy-decreasing effect had a increasing tendency. The research of the toxicity-attenuated role with the fixed LD50 dose of Radix Aconiti Praeparata and different proportion of Radix Ginseng showed that toxicity- decreasing effect in this compatibility of Radix Ginseng and Radix Aconiti Praeparata increased with the increasing dose of Radix Ginseng in a certain range, especially the dose of Radix Ginseng was more than or equal to the dose of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata. [Conclusion] The cutoff point of the effect of attenuation was at a compatibility between Radix Ginseng and Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata in 1:1, which can provide some references in he usage of drugs in the clinical practice. |
