Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the skin irritability and sensibility of Qingbai Santan liniment, medicine in Hui minority, in rabbit and guinea pig. [Methods] Single administration and multiple delivery methods were used to the skin of shed rabbit to observe the skin irritability in rabbits; active skin allergy test and re-challenge test were used in guinea pigs to observe whether the drug could cause skin or systemic allergic reactions. [Results] The erythema and edema points were not find by naked eye in rabbit skin irritability experiment. The histopathology examination didn't show any abnormal finding. In the allergic skin test, it was found that the drug did not cause skin allergic reactions and systemic allergic reactions in guinea pigs. [Conclusion] The Hui medicine Qingbai Santan liniment does not cause any skin irritability and allergic reactions in rabbit and guinea pig. |
