| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the effect of Mingmu Dihuang pills on SOD and MDA in lens of cataract rats. [Methods] SOD and MDA in lens of rats with cataract were detected by biochemistry kits. [Results] The levels of MDA in lens of the rats of high and middle dose groups were lower significantly than that of the model group (P<0.05). The SOD activity of the rats of high and middle dose groups were higher significantly than that of the model group (P<0.05). [Conclusion] Mingmu Dihuang pills may significantly decrease the MDA and increase the SOD activity in the lens of the cataract rats. |
