Abstract
|
[Objective] To identify the best prescription and the content determination method of the oral micro-emulsion of the hydrophilic Salvianolic acid B (Sal B) in type of water in oil (W/O). [Methods] A pseudo three dimensional phase diagram was prepared by Km value titration to investigate the influence of surfactant, cosurfactant, oil phase types, drug, Km value, temperature on the microemulsion area and select the best prescription combination of W/O microemulsion. Its content was determined by HPLC method. [Results] The microemulsion prescription with larger region was Labrafil M 1944CS/soybean lecithin (PC)/dehydrated alcohol/Sal B solution (45 mg/ml) (Km=1). The temperature for the preparation was (40±1)℃. [Conclusion] The optimal prescription can entrap Sal B in the aqueous phase, obtaining the homogeneous system of clear transparent and good fluidity. |
