Abstract
|
[Objective] To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Poria cocos plus Little Pinellia ternata decoction in the treatment of delayed chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting. [Methods] From March, 2011 to May, 2012, 91 patients with delayed chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting were randomized into two groups for parallel-controlled study. The treatment group (46 patients) was treated by Poria cocos plus Little Pinellia ternata decoction for 3 days, while the control group (45 patients) by metoclopramide. We compared the curative effect of two groups. The occurrences of adverse events were evaluated as well. [Results] There had obvious differences in curative effect between treatment group and control group. In both groups no adverse events were found. [Conclusion] Poria cocos plus Little Pinellia ternata decoction has good curative effect in the treatment of delayed chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting. |
