| [Objective] To analyze the effect of digital pressing, tapping and kneading at knee bending in treating osteoarthritis of knee. [Methods] The 97 patients were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group of 49 patients was treated with digital pressing, tapping and kneading at knees bending, while the control group of 48 patients with acupuncture treatment. The treatment course was 14 days. The clinical effect, VAS score and the safety evaluation were analyzed before and after treatment. [Results] VAS score after treatment was significantly reduced when compared with that before treatment (P<0.01). The treatment group was more improved than control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate in the treatment group was 95.24% and better than that in control group of 83.61% (P<0.05). Before and after treatment the patients had no significant adverse reactions and was without significant changes of basic vital signs (P>0.05). [Conclusion] The digital pressing, tapping and kneading at knees bending has better clinical curative effect and higher security in treating osteoarthritis of the knee. |
