Abstract
By comparing and analyzing the records of slow pluse in various editions of Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is indicated that slow pluse pertains to abnormal pluse, and there is no physiological or pathological divide in slow pluse. The so-called normal slow pluse and morbid one belong to a conceptual confusion. The slow pluse is characterized by two factors, including four pulsations in a breath, flaccidity and lassitude, and it suggests dampness and deficiency of spleen and stomach.
