| Abstract

| [Objective] To investigate the anti-inflammatory effect and mechanism of Xinhuang tablet. [Methods] The anti-inflammatory models were induced by bilaterally adrenalectomized mice,carrageenan-induced hind swelling in rats ,peritonitis model were induced by glacial acetic acid, the content of COX-2, HIS, PGE2 and IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10 were measured. [Results] Xinhuang tablets show a marked suppressive effect on carrageenan-induced hind swelling. It's effect related to inhibition of COX- 2,reduction of IL-1α, IL-1β, HIS, increasing IL-6, IL-10. [Conclusion] The anti-inflammatory effect and mechanism of Xinhuang tablets may related to reduce IL-1β and HIS, inhibit cellular and humoral immunity. |
