| This article has intensively introduced the understanding and treatment prescription for epidemic infection with swollen head in Supplement for Treatise on Pestilence and the characteristics of this epidemic disease is analyzed. And it has interpreted the pathogenesis, pathogenic factor, and clinical manifestation of the fever in details. Besides, this article proposed three kinds of remedy for the fever in Supplement to Treatise on Pestilence, included treatment of position of lesion, intervention of the exterior and interior, and transition from lentitude to violence. Prescriptions such as universal brief decoction for disinfection, which is commonly used for clearing away heat and toxic material, were also recommended for the fever with a swollen head in this article. |
