Abstract

The pathogenesis of syndrome of feeling fullness and distention in upper abdomen is caused primarily by insufficiency of the spleen and then stagnation of Qi affecting the transportation and transformation of Zhongjiao, leading to the endogenous formation of damp, turbid pathogen and blood stasis, and finally a disorder of rising and falling of Qi. This article preliminarily discussed the common causes and pathogenesis of the syndrome of feeling fullness and distention in upper abdomen with spleen-asthenia and damp-heat and considered that taking Xiaochaihu decoction and modified Wendan decoction was consist with the pathogenesis of this syndrome and combining with puncturing by tip of finger in the treatment could obtain much more better effect. |
