Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical efficacy of motion with needling on post-stroke shoulde-hand syndrome. [Methods] The 75 patients were randomly divided into two groups, the traditional needling method on group A and the method of motion with needling on group B. After four weeks of the treatment, VAS pain scores, swelling degree of integration, FMA scores and ADL scores were compared between the two groups and within separate group at the time of before and after treatment. [Results] VAS pain scores after four weeks of the treatment were significantly decreased comparing with that of before treatment for both in the two groups(P<0.01), but no significant differences between two groups(P>0.05). For FMA scores and ADL scores, both between two groups were significantly increased(P<0.01), and Group B was significantly higher than that in group A(P<0.05). And for swelling degree of integration, between two groups were significantly decreased(P<0.01), and group B was significantly lower than that in group A(P<0.01). [Conclusion] The method of motion with needling is superior to the conventional needling method on improving upper limb motor function, activities of daily living and alleviating the swelling of the limbs. |
