| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To study and compare the anti-inflammatory effects of extracts from Isodonis Lophanthoidis var.graciliflora and Rabdosia serra.[Methods] SPF Kunming mice were divided into model group, aspirin group(0.2 g/kg),Isodonis Lophanthoidis var.graciliflora water extract group (2.57,1.28,0.64 g/kg) group and Rabdosia serra extract (2.67,1.33,0.67 g/kg) groups. Each drug was administrated to mice orally once a day for 5 days.1 h after the last administration, the anti-inflammatory effects were observed by methods of xylene-induced auricular swelling and acetic acid-induced peritoneal inflammation, respectively.[Results] The water extract of Isodonis Lophanthoidis var.graciliflora could markedly decrease xylene-induced auricular swelling and inhibit acetic-acid induced increasing of permeability in peritoneal capillary in mice. But Rabdosia serra extract had no marked anti-inflammatory effects in decreasing the swelling of ear, and had less anti-inflammatory effects to decrease the increasing of the permeability of peritoneal capillary in less degree than Isodonis Lophanthoidis var.graciliflora extract.[Conclusion] The water extract of Isodonis Lophanthoidis var.graciliflora has stronger anti-inflammatory activities than Rabdosia serra extract does. |
