Abstract
[Objective] Through a comparative researching the therapeutic effect of the underground and aboveground part of Xing'an Cimicifuga in prescription of TCM for treating uterine prolapse the pharmacological action of the aboveground part was further explored. [Methods] Patients with mild uterine prolapse were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group with prescripted medicine of TCM using aboveground part of Xing'an Cimicifuga and group with the underground one. The treatment course was 6 months. The recovery of the pelvic floor muscles strength and the condition of the uterine prolapse before and after treatment were observed and the current therapeutic effect was evaluated. [Results] The therapeutic efficacy between both groups was not different in the treatment of uterine prolapse(P>0.05). [Conclusion] There was no difference between TCM with aboveground part of Xing'an Cimicifuga and TCM with the underground one. The obtained result lays a solid foundation for expanding the scope and improving the clinical curative effect of TCM resources.
